What am I looking for? I am looking for my mate, my partner, my husband. He has managed to elude me so far, but I am hopeful that he and I will be crossing paths soon. I am 41 years old guy, educated (masters degree in engineering), fun loving (have a great sense of humor), masculine (don't mind getting my hands dirty), romantic (don't have trouble showing my man I care for him), and down to earth (very mellow personality).

My hobbies? Now that summer is here and baseball season is in full swing, I must let it be known that I am a huge baseball fan. I grew up watching Braves baseball with my grandfather, but my love of the game has spanned beyond just the Atlanta team. I do enjoy other sports as well - great way to spend some time either alone or with friends - watching sporting events.

I am very much the outdoor type of guy. I enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking and camping. The smell of a campfire and relaxing out in nature can be a very relaxing and theraputic activitiy. I also enjoy reading, dining out, working around my home and spending time with friends and family. I also hit the gym on a regular basis, but I don't live there. :)

I am interested in meeting someone for dating. I like to keep initial dates light-hearted and fun. I feel that too many people try to spend so much time on initial dates trying to impress each other instead of enjoying the activity that we are participating in. I say enjoy the time spend and if the compatibility for more is there, it will be readily apparent. In other words, don't just seek the destination (a boyfriend), be sure to enjoy the journey as well.

What I am looking for? I am looking for a guy that has an interest in meeting someone new to go on a few dates and see what happens. I am open to having lunch, meeting for coffee, seeing a movie, a walk in the park, a shopping trip to the mall, visit a park - there are many options for a first date. Nothing is set in stone, but I, like everyone else, has preferences. I like guys that are over 30 and up to about 45 (age is not set in stone), are of black or latin descent, have a nice personality, and is making a life for himself and is looking to date a nice guy. I don't care if you are masculine or feminine. I don't have a preference as far as height and weight - just be taking care of yourself - be healthly.
